Dorothy Parker? How does it fit? I’m considering buying a dress from there

I got a really large size and had it altered down because of certain assets that leave me way out of proportion. Quality is so-so, but it did half-survive through a 21st birthday in New Orleans (worn by my friend) and a southern wedding. So kudos. I shamefully must admit that I recently ordered a CAT PRINT DRESS from Dorothy Perkins, so be on the look out for that. 

maybe make it shorter by cutting off the torn part. sorry, i’m not much on sewing stuff.

I was hoping to do just that, but cutting it where the hole is would leave it at an obscene length. I’ll bug my fashion design friend to see what can be salvaged. Thanks sir!!!
